The Add Files dialog is available from the File menu (main window) and is used to add files to the FAR file list. Alternatively drag and drop files onto the main window using Windows Explorer or the Windows Find dialog.
Select a local or network drive. Drive files and folders will be displayed in the File List control below.
Click this button to move up a directory level. Click this button to auto select all web type files and folders in the File List.
Tip: Ctrl+Click the File List select individual items.
Select one or more files to add to the FAR file list (main window). Ctrl+click or shift+click to multi-select items. Only files are added to the FAR file list. Any folders selected will be searched for files as well as any subfolders within the selected folders.
Select a single folder, say the web root, to add all your web files to the FAR file list. If you do not select any files, then FAR will use the folder specified in the Folder dropdown (above).
When the Add button is pressed, the selected files, as well as all files found in selected folders and subfolders, are put though 3 filters (if specified) before being added to the FAR file list.
Click the filter icon or on the filter field headings to open the Drop File Filter dialog and change the file filters.
When checked, the FAR file list is first cleared before the selected files are added to it.
Add - Press Add to add the selected files to the FAR file list in the main window.
Cancel - Press Cancel to dismiss the dialog and cancel any changes.

The window is sizable. Double click the window title bar to maximize the window.
