This dialog is used to Find and Replace TOC items in the TOC & Index Editor.
While in the TOC (or index) editor press Ctrl+F any time to open this dialog. Once you have setup your Find and Replace dialog you can hit F3 to repeat the last Find and Replace command.
Note: Some dropdown lists contain ">>" items. These items are used as command separators and when selected mean "Nothing selected".
Search: Set up the search scope. Normally set to "All TOC Items".
Match1, Match2: Further limit the scope of the search.
Example: Select "Label" and enter the label text to search for.Match Icon: When checked FAR will find the selected icon.
When "Do Replace Action" is checked the replace options become available. If not checked then only find is done.
Set Text: When enabled (">>" is not selected) FAR will set the items text.
Example: Select "Label" and enter "Fred" to set all matched TOC entries to have label = "Fred".Set Icon: When checked FAR will set the TOC Icon for all matching items.
Ask Before Replace: Preview all changes before modifications are made to the TOC.
Find Button: Start search and replace. If
